An update from our practice on COVID-19

After much thought and deliberation, and to keep our staff healthy and continue to serve your pets during these uncertain times, we have made the decision to restrict client access to our hospital. Effective Monday March 16th, only employees will be permitted inside our hospital. Now as of March 20th – Based on Governor Wolf’s non-life sustaining business closure order, veterinary hospitals may stay open and we have expanded our hours but we can only see limited appointments. We must adhere to state regulations, please call the office for further information 215-295-5009.  Your patience and understanding is appreciated at this time. We are using curbside protocals to keep our staff and clients safe. 

We are asking that when you arrive in our parking lot with your pet, you text to the phone number posted on the building, to alert our staff of your arrival.  You will be checked in by one of our Client Service Representatives over the phone, and when we are ready to see your pet, one of our staff will retrieve them from your vehicle. You will have to chance to speak with the doctor over the phone, regarding your pet’s appointment, before the end of your visit. When your pet’s appointment is complete, one of our staff will bring your pet back to your car, along with any medications or products needed, and you will be checked out at your vehicle. 

If you are picking up medication or food for your pet, the same protocol will be in place.  We ask that you call or text us from your vehicle.  One of our staff will assist you.  Alternatively, we can also assist you with placing an order though our on-line pharmacy to have products delivered directly to your home. We thank you for continuing to purchase food and medication from us directly.  By purchasing locally, you are keeping Morrisville Veterinary Hospital here for your pets.  We can take payment over the phone and bring your purchase to your car.  Our staff is trained to keep their distance and help you. 

This protocol will be in place until further notice, but we will update you as soon as the decision is made to run business as usual. Once again, we apologize in advance for any inconveniences, and hope you understand our desire to keep everyone healthy and to keep the hospital open to serve your pets in their times of need.
