Dr. Donna Hughes-Saurina
Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Donna Hughes-Saurina joined Morrisville Veterinary Hospital
in 1985 after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of
Veterinary Medicine. Over the years, her commitment to her patients
and their owners has deepened, leading to many lasting friendships.
Her passion for animals is matched only by a love for painting them.

Dr. Robin Turin
Associate Veterinarian

Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist

Dr. Robin Turin has been an Associate Veterinarian at Morrisville Veterinary Hospital since graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997.  Dr. Turin graduated cum laude from Dickinson College where she was a member of Omicron Delta Kappa and the National Scholarship and Leadership Society.

 

Dr. Turin loves being challenged by her work. She has recently completed certification in veterinary acupuncture through IVAS and is excited to have the opportunity to incorporate this versatile modality into her practice of veterinary medicine.  Dr. Turin also has a PennHIP certification.

 

Dr. Turin lives in Bucks County with her husband, two children, and two cats.  Her interests include reading, Pilates, and cooking and eating delicious vegetarian food.


Dr. Dianne E. Skorup
Medical Director
Associate Veterinarian


Dr. Dianne E. Skorup graduated from Millersville State College in 1981 with a B.S. in Biology. She then worked at Thomas Jefferson University doing cellular immunology research for four years. 

Dr. Skorup is a 1989 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, she completed a 13-month small-animal rotating medical and surgical internship at The Animal Medical Center in New York City. She then spent eight years in private practice in New York before returning to Pennsylvania. In 2001, after three years in emergency and private practice, Dr. Skorup joined  Morrisville Veterinary Hospital. As an Associate Veterinarian and our Medical Director, Dr. Skorup is responsible for surgical/medical cases, as well as the management duties associated with a large support staff.

Dr. Skorup enjoys traveling, running, music, gardening, and spending time with her cat and two Great Pyrenees dogs.

Dr. Christy Decker

Personnel Director
Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Christy Decker graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. Her many years as a veterinary technician in New Jersey prepared her to become a veterinary medical doctor.

Upon graduation from veterinary school, she joined a very busy emergency practice. There she performed surgeries and practiced emergency and critical care medicine.

Dr. Decker became an associate here in 2006 and she continues to give each of her patients 110%.

She loves spending time with her husband, daughters, dogs and cats. Scuba diving, music, reading, and movies are some of her favorite hobbies.

 
Dr. Jane M. Belak-Hamer
Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Belak was a 1999 graduate of the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in Massachusetts. Upon graduating, she worked in several veterinary hospitals throughout Pennsylvania, allowing her to experience a wide variety of surgical and medical cases. The compassion she shows is very evident in her work.


Morrisville Veterinary Hospital was pleased to welcome Dr. Belak-Hamer as an Associate Veterinarian in 2007.


With two dogs , two cats, and three beautiful girls, her life is very busy. Interests include the "Jersey Shore", reading, and spending time with her family. 


Dr. Deborah Comings
Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Comings received her B.A. in Biology from Goucher College in 1998 and her M.S. in Animal Science from the University of Delaware in 2001. She then taught upper level biology before enrolling in veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania. Since graduation in 2006, Dr. Comings has been in private practice working with small animals and exotic animal pets. She loves her patients and enjoys the challenge involved with keeping them healthy.

In her free time, Dr. Comings is an avid skier and loves anything involving the water including SCUBA diving and wind-surfing. Less physical pursuits include sketching and webpage design. Her three cats and two pet rats graciously allow Dr. Comings and her husband to live with them. 


Dr. Alexandra R. Frank
Associate Veterinarian


Dr. Alexandra R. Frank received a B.A. in Biochemistry from Colgate University in 1997, after which she spent several years engaged in research and working as a veterinary technician.

Dr. Frank is a 2007 graduate of North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, she completed a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Morrisville Veterinary Hospital in 2011, Dr. Frank worked for three years as an emergency clinician at a veterinary specialty center in Delaware.


Dr. Frank's professional interests include emergency and critical care medicine, respiratory, cardiovascular, and endocrine emergencies and diseases, and preventive medicine.
